Question: I would like to know how to update my M7 with the latest firmware?
Answer: To update the M7 with the latest Android firmware, please our M7 Firmware Flashing Guide.
Warning: ALL DATA WILL BE LOST!Please backup all data before going further.All default applications provided with the M7 can be downloaded from our download section.
1) Download the latest firmware from our download section on the M7 web page.2) Extract the. Zip file and copy all files to desktop.3) Connect the M7 to computer using a mini usb cable via the OTG usb port.- USB Connected will be displayed on the top left corner of the screen4) Connect to the M7 External Micro SD Card already inserted by accessing the Notifications screen.- Access Notifications screen by holding the top task bar and dragging down or alternatively press menu button from the home screen and select notifications from the bottom menu.5) Select USB Connected6) Select Turn on USB Storage- Once connected a pop-up screen will appear on desktop computer- Select open folder to view files- Drag all firmware files directly to the sd card folder opened- If you would like to add a custom boot logo image, replace: logo.bmp (keeping exact same dimensions)7) Select Turn Off USB Storage8) Power down the M7 by holding down the power button located on top of the device, then select OK to power off.9) Hold down MENU button then press the power button to turn on the device.10) Firmware update process will now begin.
