After a week of intensive use, here's an overview of the Archos 7 HT v1.

I found the finish of this shelf very correct, the little plastic visible inspires confidence and bronze metal finishes are good. The size / weight / finish gives a real feeling of solidity, the tablet is rigid and there is no creaking when the handles.

I find the touchscreen very bright, very pleasant to use and video playback.Small compared to the screen of my netbook LED display:
USE
In use with the base rom, I found the tablet rather fluid and responsive.The screen despite a resistive technology is sufficiently precise and responsive, rare are the times when you must clicker twice.This response is possible because Archos has made available a new version of its software around the month of September when comments from before that date are therefore quaducs.
So for a basic use, this tablet is pleasant to use, but I strongly recommend the use of a task killer and not use big fancy Widget widget like, because the 128 MB of Ram soon arriving at their limits.
For my part, I use a rom alternative that is based on the latest software archos, which always turns on Cupcake, but the advantage of from about 70 MB for the instalation of the application has 180 MB to be root, and power instaler the Android Market, which is not present original. cookees This Rom also have the google app like gmail, sync contacts, map.

So here, in summary, this tablet is pleasant to take in hand, the use is fairly fluid and responsive.The resistive screen is of good quality and wireless sensor is sensitive enough.
